We are pleased to offer the following two leadership programmes available to all schools as part of their school improvement journey.
Schools Partnership Programme (SPP)
To support all schools regardless of their Ofsted rating, the Schools Partnership Programme (SPP) led by the Education Development Trust is a partnership-based approach to School Improvement available for all Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
An established programme of schools since 2014 that builds capacity and capability through effective school self-review, peer review and school-to-school support. To date, hundreds of schools across England have engaged with the programme and numbers continue to grow, including within Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
The programme is proven to:
• Strengthen capability and capacity in leadership.
• Increase confidence in leaders at all levels.
• Improve teachers’ understanding and skills with improvement priorities.
• Improve pupil attainment and specific school outcomes for learners.
This is a three-year peer review sustainable system-led partnership that will seek to embed and sustain system leadership.
The programme for TSSW Members is £1,800 - £2,250 per delegate and £2,000 - £2,500 for other colleagues.

Secondary Leadership Network
Created for Secondary Headteachers who enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas, the Secondary Leadership Network will provide an opportunity to visit high performing and rapidly improving schools nationally and to discuss and debate ways to improve schools with an understanding of the regional context.
The Network will be of interest to Secondary Headteachers from all career stages, all secondary school types and all Ofsted ratings and is underpinned by the following principles:
• Effective Collaboration
• Critically Inquisitive
• Support and Challenge
We are delighted that the Network will be led by experienced Headteachers: Tim Harris (Colyton Grammar School - East Devon), Steve Margetts (Torquay Academy) and Tim Rutherford (West Exe School - Exeter).
The first session is due to commence in October and will run until June 2021 and will consist of at least six sessions with a blend of online and face-to-face events, linked, where possible, to other key meetings attended by Headteachers.
The programme is FREE for TSSW Members and £95 per delegate for other colleagues.
